Signature facial no. 03
"The facial that makes your skin look filtered in real life."
Bare Muse features dermaplaning — a professional technique that uses a sterile surgical blade to gently remove dead skin cells and vellus hair from the surface of your skin. The result is an instantly smoother, brighter complexion that absorbs products far better and photographs like a dream.

A note from Jazmyn
"Dermaplaning is one of those treatments where clients cannot believe the difference until they feel their own skin afterward. I will not do it on someone with inflamed acne because it can make things worse — but on the right skin, the results are honestly magical. You will not want to stop touching your face."

Questions
Will my hair grow back thicker after dermaplaning?
No. This is one of the most common misconceptions about dermaplaning. Vellus hair has no follicle structure that would cause it to grow back coarser. It will return the same as before, usually within four to six weeks.
Is dermaplaning safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. When performed correctly by a trained professional, dermaplaning is safe for all skin tones. Jazmyn will always assess your skin individually before starting.
Can I have this facial if I use retinol?
Stop using retinoids at least 72 hours before your appointment. Retinoids thin the skin and increase sensitivity, which can make dermaplaning uncomfortable or cause irritation.
How soon before an event should I book this?
Ideally three to five days before your event. This gives any minor redness time to settle while your skin is still looking its freshest.
Can I combine this with other treatments?
Bare Muse already includes a hydrating treatment after dermaplaning. Additional chemical exfoliation or microneedling should be spaced out — Jazmyn will advise you on the right sequence.
