Signature facial no. 03

Bare Muse
Silky. Smooth. Glowing.

"The facial that makes your skin look filtered in real life."

Bare Muse features dermaplaning — a professional technique that uses a sterile surgical blade to gently remove dead skin cells and vellus hair from the surface of your skin. The result is an instantly smoother, brighter complexion that absorbs products far better and photographs like a dream.

Bare Muse
Dermaplaning + glow

This facial was made for you if...

You want baby-smooth skin
Dermaplaning removes weeks of dead skin buildup and fine facial hair in one session. The difference you feel is immediate.
Your makeup sits in texture
Foundation clings to peach fuzz and dry patches. After Bare Muse, makeup application becomes noticeably smoother.
Your products stop working
Dead skin creates a barrier that blocks even your best serums. Removing it allows everything you apply to absorb properly.
You have a big event coming up
Weddings, photoshoots, reunions. This is the treatment professionals recommend in the week before something important.

Every step. In order.

1
Skin consultation and contraindication check
Dermaplaning is not for everyone. Jazmyn checks for active acne, rosacea flares, or recent skin procedures before proceeding. Your safety always comes first.
2
Double cleanse
Clean skin is essential before dermaplaning. A thorough double cleanse removes all traces of product and debris.
3
Dermaplaning
Using a sterile surgical blade held at a precise angle, Jazmyn gently glides across the skin to remove the outermost layer of dead cells and vellus hair. It is painless and surprisingly relaxing.
4
Hydrating mask and LED light
Freshly dermaplaned skin absorbs everything more deeply. A hydrating mask is applied immediately to flood the new skin layer with moisture and nutrients.
5
Targeted serums, moisturizer, and SPF
Serums chosen to complement your freshly exfoliated skin. Sealed with a nourishing moisturizer and essential SPF.

A note from Jazmyn

"Dermaplaning is one of those treatments where clients cannot believe the difference until they feel their own skin afterward. I will not do it on someone with inflamed acne because it can make things worse — but on the right skin, the results are honestly magical. You will not want to stop touching your face."

— Jazmyn Perez, licensed medical esthetician

Frequently asked

Will my hair grow back thicker after dermaplaning?

No. This is one of the most common misconceptions about dermaplaning. Vellus hair has no follicle structure that would cause it to grow back coarser. It will return the same as before, usually within four to six weeks.

Is dermaplaning safe for darker skin tones?

Yes. When performed correctly by a trained professional, dermaplaning is safe for all skin tones. Jazmyn will always assess your skin individually before starting.

Can I have this facial if I use retinol?

Stop using retinoids at least 72 hours before your appointment. Retinoids thin the skin and increase sensitivity, which can make dermaplaning uncomfortable or cause irritation.

How soon before an event should I book this?

Ideally three to five days before your event. This gives any minor redness time to settle while your skin is still looking its freshest.

Can I combine this with other treatments?

Bare Muse already includes a hydrating treatment after dermaplaning. Additional chemical exfoliation or microneedling should be spaced out — Jazmyn will advise you on the right sequence.
